Peacebuilding in Cyprus does not need leaders without dignity, bigoted and deceitful personalities, eyes blinded by nationalism.
A new “agreement” may need their signature.
Peace does not!
Societies can make peace…
Peace can flourish through life, common dreams can turn into forests…
Young people are much more dynamic in this regard…
There is still a significant majority who feel Cyprus as a common homeland…
This majority defends its identity, its personality, its homeland and its values…
Despite all the pressure, imposition, fear…
Young people are challenging themselves to build a future that is much more advanced, high quality and peaceful than the one we live in today… Because “national fairy tales” do not fill their bellies, expand their worlds or allow them to discover their talents…
They do not want “annexation“.
They do not look at life from a “fatalistic” perspective.
They do not surrender to mediocrity.
They know Europe!
They reject obsolescence.

We can take the Winds of Change team as an example.
They did it!
I think they became the first sailing team to circumnavigate the whole island.
“Our journey was not just about circumnavigating our island, it was a journey of the heart. We set out on this adventure individually, but we are returning as a united family,” they said.
Andrianos, Erem, Gözde, Gürdal, Koulia, Luana, Melek, Nilhan, Paris and Berke are true patriots of this country.
We cannot be proud of them enough.
Well done guys!
You are the hope of Cyprus against those who slobber and beg for high office and status, those who destroy the identity, culture and values of this society by bending and twisting, and those who play the game of statism as if making fun of the world.

The love for humanity and homeland in their hearts became the wind filling their sails as they toured the whole island!
They united against the teachings of enmity, the language of hate and the culture of resentment.
“We proved that peace is possible and that peace begins with understanding, trust and communication,” they say now…

Despite the evil hearts that want to divide Cyprus, we can succeed.
With more cooperation…
By creating more common ground…
By uniting more…
In the north or the south of Cyprus, by stepping outside the division-based system and network of benefits…
By breaking away from the herd and taking a challenge!

‘Media’ profiteering in addition to ‘prescription’ profiteering!
There is no “but“, “however“, “so” and “though” in human rights violations!
A violation is a violation and the northern part of Cyprus is far from civilization in this sense.
One of our most important skills is to find a cover for our mistakes, to cover our shame with verbal acrobatics, and to legitimise our flaws while also justifying ourselves.
In universal law, the principle called “presumption of innocence” is clear.
You cannot declare anyone “guilty” unless they are proven guilty!
“We did not declare them guilty, we wrote that they were suspects.”
Of course, dear!
If you put people in front of the public every day, every night, with their name, reputation and appearance, they will be labeled as “criminals”.
Yes, this is a clear violation of human rights.
It doesn’t matter if he is a doctor or a worker!
It is the same whether he is a contractor or a loan shark…
A person who is alleged to have committed a crime is innocent until a judge says “guilty“.
Framing people as “guilty” until they are convicted after a fair and open trial in an independent court is a violation of human rights, no matter how you justify it.
Open the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and read it.
I am sorry, but the most basic human right is being violated for popular concerns such as more views, clicks, likes, attention, readership, making noise.
This is not surprising for the northern part of Cyprus!
We live in an established order that was created by violating the most basic human rights such as property.
In a democracy where society cannot elect the people who will govern them…
What more?
***
What about those who conceal the names [of suspects] but publish the photos openly?
Or those who first disgrace [them] and then confess their sins…
This will continue to be the case as long as you, my “curious” people, ask the media “who is it?”, criticise them for “hiding it”, and do not explore your own intellectual and ethical boundaries to see what universal law says.
When it happens to you, you wake up, but that’s not right.
***
And of course there is the issue of “handcuffs“…
I don’t know how it is in the law.
I think this is also against the “principle of innocence“!
If a person is not aggressive… If he has not committed murder openly… If there is no threat…
When you put them in “handcuffs” in the public eye, the person becomes a “criminal“.
Even before the trial is over…
If the court says “guilty”… Then you put handcuffs on them… If you say, “they might escape…”
It’s not sincere at all…
I saw a prisoner in prison escape…
I’ve never seen such suspects…
Let’s judge people, but don’t humiliate them!
Whoever is guilty will be punished anyway…
It’s like a sightseeing trip to New York!
How “hypocritical” it is!
They don’t invite you to New York as “TRNC President“.
They call you “community leader“!
You go!
Then they say “trilateral meeting“.
You say “recognize the TRNC“.
Then you should never have got on the plane!
You should have never set foot in the United Nations.
They don’t recognise it!
They won’t recognise it!
They are saying it!
You wouldn’t have gone to New York and come back without meeting a single world leader…
The more you run away from that table, the filthier the half of the island you return to…
Moreover, the “office” you hold is becoming more and more ordinary…
Unless you sit at the table, you are left with “fairs, weddings, funerals“!
And “yes sir, alright sir, sure sir…”
What a pleasure, what a pleasure!
