A WORLD THAT IS OUT OF JOINT: THE ORDER OF THE COWBOY, THE VOIVODE, AND THE BANDIT…

This post is also available in: ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ (GREEK) TÜRKÇE (TURKISH)

In ancient times, it was believed that there was a huge ‘joint’ right at the center of the world.

The world was connected to the sky by this joint …

The removal of this ‘joint’ signified the arrival of the ‘apocalypse’.

Now, it seems we are rapidly heading towards that very point…

The world’s biggest ‘madman’ is about to remove this joint with the biggest ‘hammer’…

US President Donald Trump chilled our blood by committing the greatest folly of the 21st century…

American soldiers raided the ‘bedroom’ of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, a member state of the UN. They handcuffed him and his wife, kidnapped them to the US in their slippers, and brought them before a court in New York, yesterday.

This country’s former presidents are all quite experienced in kidnapping and invading countries…

However, former presidents used to do these things ‘secretly’…

But Trump is ‘proudly’ boasting about this bloody operation that makes people say “the world must be out of joint” and is taking great pleasure in it.

He praises state terrorism with a crude ‘bandit language’.

He acts like a ‘gang leader’, intimidating people and spreading fear around the world…

Unfortunately, words like arrogant, bully, cowboy, and tyrant are insufficient in describing this new ‘political face’ of the US…

Trump resorted to the same justifications for this new style of armed coup as previous presidents, but he also made his intentions very ‘clear’…

He said, “We are now going to rule Venezuela”…

He instantly seized the world’s largest oil reserves…

By declaring, “This is our oil,” he took away the Venezuelan people’s only wealth.

But that’s not all…

He loudly proclaimed to the world that he would also hand over rare elements and minerals, especially gold and lithium, to US companies.

Thus, as of January 2, 2026, we have entered into a ‘new world order”…

We can no longer mention an organization called the United Nations.

There is no such thing as ‘international law’ anymore.

Countries are deprived of their rights to sovereignty…

People have no right to determine their own destiny…

The world has now been abandoned to the rule of ‘violence’, brute force, and weapons of war…

This bloody attack is so reminiscent of Hitler’s invasion of Poland in 1939…

However, in 1945, Germany was defeated, and Hitler had committed suicide…

So, is there a ‘world’ like the one back then that can stop Trump now?

Even if we may say, “There is no such world,” the struggle of the people will certainly not stop…

The Venezuelan people are a heroic people who fought a war of independence against colonial Spain…

I don’t think they will give in to Trump.

Venezuela saw a great ‘revolution’, especially during the Hugo Chavez era (1999-2013).

Chavez ruled the country for 14 years until his passing on March 5, 2013.

He was a true socialist who carried Simon Bolivar’s anti-imperialist, anti-US ideology into the 20th century; he was a true pioneer of independence against colonialism in Latin America,…

He nationalized oil, electricity, and telecommunications, and succeeded in eradicating poverty and spreading prosperity to the masses with oil revenues.

He was not a Marxist. Yet, he was strongly influenced by Marxism.

He had established some sort of an ‘oil based socialism’.

Chavez said, “Oil is the natural right of the poor.”

That is why Trump wants to use his imperial power to ‘return’ this oil to US companies.

President Maduro, held captive in the US, saw himself as ‘Chavez’s son, his heir’, but even though he was in Chavez’s shadow, he had strayed quite far from his ideology.

During Maduro’s time, falling oil prices, coupled with heavy US sanctions and hyperinflation, created shortages and waves of migration.

Millions of Venezuelans emigrated from the country.

The Maduro era was more ‘authoritarian’ than the Chavez era in terms of ‘democracy’. The media and the opposition felt they were under ‘heavy pressure’. Even the last elections (July 28, 2024) were quite controversial. It was claimed that they were ‘unfair and non-transparent’.

The question now is: Can Trump take advantage of Venezuela’s ‘internal vulnerability’ to seize its oil and natural resources?

There is a population living abroad who are dissatisfied with Maduro, but there is also an army that supports him, along with the judicial system and state institutions.

What will its neighbors, the Latin American countries, do?

Will they wait for their turn?

Will Russia, China, and Iran, friends of this country, just watch from afar?

Will a ‘world’ emerge that can stop Trump?

Or will it be Greenland, Cuba, or even Canada’s turn next?

Will an order of ‘voivodeship’ be established in the world?

Will countries focus solely on a ‘race for weaponization’?

Will powerful states say, “He did it, why can’t I?”

Will strong crushing, subjugating, and intimidating the weak form the axis of this new world order?

None of this is known. Yet, one thing is certain: from now onwards, Latin America will be more ‘unstable’…

Just as it has destroyed states in the Middle East, it will continue with this habit there as well.

And another thing: The people won’t just sit back and take it… They will create their own leader, resist, and make life difficult for Trump.

If America didn’t learn its lesson in Vietnam and Afghanistan, it will certainly learn it in Latin America…
