Because we are living amidst the grand theft of other people’s properties.
If you are looking for a fraudster, let the TRNC be arrested.
Let this system, which for the past 41 years has been deceiving its own people by saying that it will be recognized today or tomorrow, get arrested.
If you are looking for corruption, let the TRNC get arrested.
Let this chaos, every little bit of which is riddled with bribery and nauseating screams, be arrested.
Start with those who founded this system.
Start with the thieves who stole the dreams of young people, for instance.
Arrest anyone who has ever raised a hand.
Then you can deal with those who, taking their state as an example, try to live their lives in a nest of thieves, swindlers and corruption.
I am being sarcastic.
Maybe this says a little too much about US.
Tell me, who turned a blind eye to this establishment?
We are now watching the established order fall apart.
What, who is, or who are behind, to the right, to the left, or above this?
As we watch those who normally do the arresting get arrested in this operation, who is in charge?
Who is managing this chaos?
And in whose favour?
Did someone say clean hands?
You must be kidding me!
Look at the point we have reached as the children of a society that struggled for existence years ago, as the children of ancestors who were thrown into mass graves by fascists.
Is this why our ancestors sacrificed their lives, were killed and slaughtered?
Is this why they are still missing?
Instead of our grandfathers and grandmothers who do not even have a gravestone, master thieves are now roaming this land.
Is this justice? It’s a huge bankruptcy whichever way you look at it!
In this half-island where corruption is running wild, we are sinking lower and lower every passing day.
While my ancestors settled in refugee houses in Göçmenköy, with my now orphaned memories,
Others are sitting in their million pound houses and discussing how else they can carve up our country.
While some people pilfer our country… through their stomachs, in their pockets and at the rostrum in parliament,
we read and applaud the pornography of arrests the tabloid politicians are publishing every day!
Really, how do you know all of this?
Someone is playing a beautiful game with us.
However,
if those at the very top are getting arrested, be sure that there are more above them too.
And yet, we are not surprised.
ARREST AWAY AS YOU DO!
