DOUBLE CONTRADICTION – DOUBLE ENOSIS!
Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, described the act of one country entering another country’s territory, seizing the homes and lands of its inhabitants, and even resettling “settlers” there as “theft”, regardless of the reasons behind it…
He described the “occupation”…

He went and embraced and congratulated the prime minister of Israel, the occupier…
Yesterday in Avrupa [newspaper] Şener Levent asked; “…Will Christodoulides now be able to call Turkey an occupier?”

We are experiencing the same double contradiction in the Kurdish issue too…
Would Turkey grant Kurds the right to “self-determination”?
Never!
But in Cyprus, they support ethnic discrimination and two separate states!

The Greek Cypriots also support the Kurdish movement in Turkey, but in Cyprus, they can disregard similar rights for Turkish Cypriots!

There is a “double contradiction” in the Armenia – Azerbaijan – Karabakh issue too!
What Turkey advocates for in Karabakh regarding Azerbaijan is contradictory to what it defends in Cyprus!
And the Greek Cypriot side, in this matter too, is completely on the opposite side, siding with Armenia!

The bloody war in the Middle East will end one day and this end may lead to some new “formations”…
For example, in Turkey, there is a proposal for a Palestinian State or a “guarantee system” for a two-state solution…

Within the framework of these formations, “different” and “new” initiatives could also come into play regarding the Cyprus issue.
I hope that the current double contradictions will not lead to a double enosis!
What is double enosis?
