ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ (GREEK) TÜRKÇE (TURKISH)
Open letter to Mr. İlker Görgülü, Commander of the Security Forces (CSF);
Mr. Commander;
I am writing to you because of the information and documents we have obtained regarding a ‘HUMAN TRAFFICKING’ issue, about which the General Directorate of Police under your command is hesitant to undertake an investigation and make arrests, apparently due to an instruction it has received.
The TRNC General Directorate of Police, which is subordinate to you in accordance with the ‘Provisional Article 10’ of the Constitution, and is obliged to act in line with your orders and opinions, has been conducting its investigations in line with the interests of politicians for a long time.
One minute, you see that one investigation goes to the deepest depths, while the cover of another investigation file is not even opened.
Of course, this is the case not only in the General Directorate of Police, but also in the Prosecutor’s Office. They act together.
The reason why I am writing to you about this issue is both because the police are under your command and because the issue of ‘HUMAN TRAFFICKING’, which we have revealed with images, videos, documents and interviews, directly concerns Turkey, and weakens your position in your foreign policy.
Bangladeshi workers, who were brought to the country through Cypfruvex, a state institution in Morphou about a week ago, are being kept in a SLAVE CAMP where they are abandoned without food and water in violation of human dignity.
Most of them are not employed and the minority who are employed are not paid their salaries.

Mr. Commander,
The AKP-MHP government is always touted as the ‘father of the oppressed’ in Palestine, Syria and various countries in Africa.
Based on this, I think that your government is also the father of the oppressed Bangladeshi people who are brought to the northern part of Cyprus and tested with hunger.
In our investigations, we have determined that this spiral of HUMAN TRAFFICKING, which will put Turkey in a guilty position in the international arena, extends to politics, social media figures and politically appointed administrators, and that this is done through companies under the name of ‘consultancy’, bringing workers to the country illegally.
Although we have given all the information and documents we collected to the police, no arrests have been made so far.
I am concerned that the possible arrests will be limited, taking into account the statements to be given and the places these will reach.
As you know, the General Directorate of Police has been turned into an organization that acts under political pressure; the trust of the society is weakening day by day and the sense of justice is put in harm’s way.
However, I believe that this case of HUMAN TRAFFICKING can only be prevented by your order to the General Directorate of Police.
I am sure that no one will be able to hide anything as soon as you instruct this investigation to be carried forward “no matter who and where it leads to”.
These Bangladeshi labourers pay between 8-10 thousand euros to come to the island and then to be taken to the south.
We also have guesses as to who these funds are divided between.
***
Those who are involved in this are;
– Some companies who demand labourers,
– Firms operating illegally under the name of ‘consultancy’ to find labourers,
– Some bureaucrats on the authorization/approval side,
– Social media figures who manage public perception regarding these issues.
***
The labourers are brought from Bangladesh with the promise of ‘a new life, a good job, a good salary, clean and decent accommodation’ and some are ‘smuggled to the south, that is Europe’.
In fact, this is already against the existing Labour Law.
In other words, if the laws that look like beautiful inscriptions on paper were implemented, this situation would never happen and those who try to do it would be penalized.
But as it turns out, the law is only a law on paper.
***
Mr. Commander;
Although the police have many audio recordings, they do not deepen the investigation in the required direction. Journalists who investigate these matters in depth are also vilified by some social media figures—collaborating with these dark forces—in order to discredit them.
In other words, the system is not foreign to any one of us.
Of course, there is other information that I could not write here and that I presented to the police in my statement.
I have no doubt that this open letter will reach you.
I hope that you will order the General Directorate of Police under your command to act accordingly.
***
Mr. Commander;
There were some CSF Commanders here who were misled by their own aides and authorized police officers.
I have written about this many times, Zorlu Paşa [Topaloğlu] is angry with me regarding this. Because he knows I am right.
I hope that you will order an investigation in to this case of HUMAN TRAFFICKING, which also concerns Turkey, without allowing anyone’s efforts to lie/misinform, and ensure that it is carried to the end as necessary.
