WOULD MR. ERSIN AND MR. TAHSIN RESIGN?

ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ (GREEK) TÜRKÇE (TURKISH)

So, we will be attending the meetings of Turkic states, of this organisation, of that organisation under the name of “Turkish Cypriot State”!

So, amidst discussions on the name of the state, its status, whether it changed or whether it is going to change and despite the previous declarations of we will never sit at the table unless the Greek Cypriots recognise our state, an agreement was reached with the Greek Cypriot side regarding Pile [Pyla].

And of course, they sat at the table to reach agreement.

Now, the Pile-Yiğitler [Pyla-Arsos] Road will be constructed…

There will be a checkpoint at the entrance to the Buffer Zone…

UN soldiers from Slovakia will control the southern side on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus.

There will be no trade of goods across this checkpoint…

In other words, there is nothing that fits the claims – the arguments – the thesis of Mr. Ersin and Tahsin!

-*-*-

Well, will the United Nations Secretary-General appoint a new special representative?

There is an agreement on this too…

The Turkish Cypriot side said “no way, not possible, we strongly object, it is impossible”…

What do you know! It happened!

Even who the representative is has been determined, but the name will not be revealed for now…

-*-*-

In the meantime, Nicos Christodoulides will present his proposals regarding the openings towards the Turkish Cypriot community after the name of the Representative is announced…

-*-*-

What of Ersin Tatar?

What of Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu?

If they could not “stomach this” then one would expect that they would have resigned long ago…

It is quite clear, quite visible that there is a new policy in Turkey regarding Cyprus…

And in this policy, Mr. Tahsin and Mr. Ersin and their like-minded buddies are “out”!

And this policy will be put into practice following the local elections in Turkey, in line with the course of the Israeli-Palestinian war…
